the best part of X-Men Origins: Wolverine

shamu and i are trying to get ourselves out of the house, assuming that we are going to be imprisoned by the baby for the next 18 years, but it's very hard since we are such homebodies.

in a courageous effort to garner quality, romantic date time together, he suggested we go see the new movie about Wolverine.

we both went to pee before the movie started (maybe he is channeling tiny pregnant bladder??) and while shamu was gone, a nissan sports car commercial came on the screen:

a man sleeping in bed.
stentorian male voice-over: there are some things best left forgotten. YOUR ANNIVERSARY IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

the man's eyes snap open, he dashes into his car and races off, and before you know it, he has popped an anniversary card next to his still-sleeping wife.

shamu conveniently returned right after the commercial ended. i described it to him.
lag2: hey, so...um...oops?
shamu: oh...oops! at least we BOTH forgot that our anniversary is tomorrow!
lag2: you're so lucky you're married to me.

p.s. the pic above is daniel henney, the actor who plays agent zero and is probably the second-best part of the movie.
